For customers

  • Due to the nature of the store, returns or exchanges are not offered, so please choose your purchases carefully.

  • All items sold at Round Two Brisbane are to be considered ‘secondhand’ or ‘preloved’, unless stated otherwise i.e. brand new with tags, brand new without tags.

Before you start your rack rental, please read below:

  • Payment must be received in full at the time of booking the rack instore or through our online booking system. Your rack rental booking is not final until payment or proof of payment has been received.

  • We understand that life is full of uncertainties, so if for any reason, cancellations of rack rentals must be done 14 days prior to the rental commencement date, unless in exceptional circumstances.

  • Any no-shows or rack rentals cancelled less than 14 days prior to the rental commencing, are non-refundable and a mark will be made on your booking profile.

  • If you wish to cancel the rack rental during your rental period, a refund will not be issued for the unused days.

  • Once full payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent through to you with an editable PDF template attached, for you to create your price tags. You simply need to fill in the blanks, with the item brand, a short description including quality (if applicable), size and price.

  • All price tags from the sold items will be handed back to the renter at the completion of their rental period. It is suggested if you are sharing the rack with 1 or more people, to write initials on the back of the tag, or use a coloured highlighter, to know which tag belongs to who. Ensure the tag is completely filled out and securely attached to each garment, as any item without a tag present, or with a price or rack number missing, cannot be sold.

  • Safety pins are available in store for you to attach your tags to each item. You are welcome to come in store prior to your rental start date to collect a bag of safety pins, as it is highly recommended that you tag all of your items prior to your set up day. Sticky tape or string for securing tags to shoes, bags, belts, hats etc. is recommended. String and sticky tape are both available in store for use, if required.

  • Please appropriately clean, steam and/or iron all items before they arrive in store to be sold. A steamer is available for use in store, however use is subject to availability.

  • Please ensure there are no marks, stains, holes or rips on any of your clothing. Ensure that all zips are working and no buttons are missing on your garments. We only want to provide the best quality items for sale to our customers. If a mark, stain, hole or rip is noticed, or if a missing button or faulty zip is found, the item will be considered not suitable for sale and will be put aside for the rack renter to collect.

Setting up your rack

  • Important: all items brought into the market to be sold, is at the rack renter’s risk. Please do not bring any item into the market to sell that you deem too valuable or do not want to risk getting damaged/losing.

  • On the first day of your rack rental, bring your items in store to set up your rack. Bags, washing tubs or suitcases are often used by renters to bring their items in store.

  • All coat and pant hangers will be supplied and the supplied hangers must be used. Children’s coat hangers are available too - please see staff on your set up day to have them swapped over.

  • Please only fill your rack with the number of items as outlined by the option you have chosen and paid for.

  • Sales updates will be sent to you via email at close of business each day (when applicable). You are welcome to come in store to refill your rack at anytime during your rental period, during Round Two opening hours.

  • If you wish to put a sale on the entire rack, there are pre-made signs available which state ‘x% off entire rack.’ There is 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50% available. Simply get in contact to have a team member put a sign up on your rack. Alternatively, you can come in store and individually mark items down.

Packing down your rack

  • At the end of your rental period, all coat and pant hangers must strictly be returned.

  • All items from your rack must be collected on the last day of your rental, as outlined in the confirmation email and agreed upon prior to booking your rental. If you do not collect your remaining items within the required period, or as arranged, you will be charged an additional $20 late fee, which will be taken out of your total profit.

  • Please be mindful of the time required to pack down, and always double check the price tags when packing your clothes away, to ensure each item belongs to you.

  • It is the renters’ responsibility to ensure they have collected all items from their rack. Any items left behind after 14 days of your rental finishing and being packed down will be donated to charity.

  • We will aim to pay your profits within 5 working days of the end of your rack rental. Your profits will be paid to a nominated bank account, as provided by the renter, and we do not offer cash payments. Round Two Brisbane takes no responsibility if the incorrect bank account details have been provided by the renter by mistake.

    By renting a rack, you agree with the above terms and conditions. Round Two Brisbane reserves the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.

    Please note, that while we take every effort to sell your clothing, Round Two Preloved Clothing cannot guarantee sales. This is due to a variety of reasons such as who’s coming in each week, the weather, and what people are looking for on that particular day. It is the same as going into a retail store, some items that are tried on are purchased, and some are not. Some of our renters have taken home over $400 of profit, and some have just paid off their rack rental. If you have any questions about what sells, we’re happy to assist.
