FAQs

for sellers

  • We provide all coat hangers for your rack, including pant and shirt hangers. We prefer you use our coat hangers for a uniform display and ease of use. We also provide unlimited security tags for your clothes!

  • We accept most types of clothing, accessories and shoes. Please make sure all clothes are in sellable condition (i.e no marks, tears, stains). At Round Two, our stock is more high quality than what you would find at an op-shop. We sell brands from designer to household.

We don't recommend selling formal clothes as occasion wear (prom, bridesmaid, tuxedos) is hard to sell.

We also do not accept swimwear and intimates.

  • You can set up your rack anytime during business hours however we do recommend 9:30 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Pack down is at 4:00pm on the last day of your rental.

If you are unable to pick up your unsold clothes on your last day please let us know ASAP and we can pack your clothes for you.

Surcharge for packing and storing the clothes is $20/day and will be deducted from your profits.

  • Designer items must be authentic in order to sell at Round Two. If you have a faux or dupe item, you MUST write DUPE on your tags. If we believe an item is not true, we will remove it from the floor and you will not be allowed to sell.

  • YES - You can top up your rack anytime during store open hours.

  • Although it depends on the brand and style, as a guide: T-shirts $5 to $20, Dresses $10 to $50, Jeans/Trousers $15 to $50, Coats/Jackets $20 to $50.

If it is a new item with tags, 60% of the original price is recommended. Don't over price. That won't help your sales.  A good way of thinking is... "what would I pay for this item if I found it at Round Two?" That's probably what other people are happy to pay too.

  • You can book a rack for as many weeks as you like. For a starter, we recommend a two week rental for best results. You can top up your rack anytime during your rental period.

  • We believe our customers should take all of their profits home with them. Round Two only takes the rental payment. The only rental that we do take a percentage of sales is our soon to be announced luxury rental.

  • No, we require full payment up front at the time of booking your rack rental.

  • Yes, we keep all price tags after each purchase is made. The price tags will be given back to the renter after their rack rental is finished, as a record of what was sold.

  • No, you definitely do not need to be present at the shop to sell your items. Unlike a one-day market event, or selling your preloved goods on an online platform, you simply price and tag your items, bring them in store to set up your rack, and leave the rest to us! Happy days!

  • If for any reason, cancellations of rack rentals must be done 14 days prior to the rental commencement date, unless in exceptional circumstances.

Any no-shows or rack rentals cancelled less than 14 days prior to the rental commencing, are non-refundable and a mark will be made on your booking profile.

    • If you wish to cancel the rack rental during your rental period, a refund will not be issued for the unused days.

  • Absolutely! At the end of the day, we want you to make a profit. If you're unsure about your items or need guidance on how to price, please get in touch.

  • At the moment, a little bit of everything. However we're noticing we menswear is few and far between. We have only been open for a month, so we will update this the more we learn who is coming in-store.

for buyers

  • Due to the consignment nature of our business, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. Please choose your purchases carefully.

  • Yes, we have 2 changerooms in store.

  • We're not a traditional Brisbane opshop, we're a rent-a-rack consignment store. Because all our clothes come from customers like yourself, you can expect high quality clothing and much-loved brands. That being said, we do have a charity rack in-store you can donate clothing to.
